Landscape & Garden Design

Landscape design services for residential and commercial properties suited to your needs, tastes and property.

Let's design your dream outdoor living space

From courtyards and large formal ponds, to raised beds and beautiful lawns, we offer complete landscaping design services that can transform your vision into reality. Our design process is built upon years of experience and clear, open communication to ensure you're 100% satisfied with the end result.

1. Initial Meeting

An initial meeting is set up to discuss your requirements and aspirations for your property. This meeting identifies those issues that you want to be addressed, how you want your particular style expressed in your garden, and budget and fee arrangements. PAYMENT NOT REQUIRED

2. Site Survey

A site survey is undertaken to analyze and survey the existing garden. This involves the taking of site measurements, levels (as required) and photos. At this time an initial layout can be presented using stakes in the ground and spray paint to help communicate proposed design ideas. Examples of stone types and gravels/soils/bark mulches to be incorporated can also be presented. PAYMENT NOT REQUIRED

3. Design Phase

A garden plan illustrates the layout of your new garden, and how the components fit together. A garden that is formalized on paper as well as with the visual clues discussed in "site survey" gives focus to the implementation of a design and ensures that a cohesive style is maintained. Accompanying notes on the plan will give an expanded explanation of the ideas expressed visually. PAYMENT REQUIRED

4. Presentation Meeting

A presentation meeting within 2 weeks of our initial contact will allow me to present my introductory design ideas through the use of an initial concept design, sketches, photographs and other visual aids.

5. Revisions and Cost Estimate

Through direct consultation and meetings we can work with you to discuss, advise, and refine the design until you are happy. Once we have a clear direction, a cost estimate is developed for review and approval so adjustments can be made to the final landscape design to ensure we meet your vision while staying on budget.

6. Final Landscape Design

A coloured plan will be produced and presented to you along with planting notes. A plan tests out ideas and ensures: • features suit their proposed positions in the garden • purchase of plants that are suited for the environment • materials choices, including types of stone and wood, complement the garden and house exterior • that pitfalls are flagged and remedied during the planning process

7. Contract & Deposit

Plans have been finalized and it's time to sign the contract and make a deposit so we can move ahead with ordering materials to get your project started. PAYMENT REQUIRED

8. Preoconstruction Meeting

Before construction begins, we'll walk you through what to expect during the construction process. Clear, open communication is an integral part of successful landscape design projects.

9. Landscape Construction Begins

We go to work to transform your vision into reality. With over 20 years of experience, we have the skills and knowledge required to create outdoor living spaces that perfectly balance colour, form, fragrance, functionality, and sustainability.

10. Project Completion Review

Upon completion of your landscape project we’ll review the final product and execution to ensure you’re 100% satisfied with the final result. We're not happy unless you're happy. FINAL PAYMENT REQUIRED

11. Maintenance Schedule

A garden usually evolves and improves over time. It’s important to create a maintenance plan that provides a framework for upkeep and future growth. We’ll review the finalized landscape and make recommendations on how to keep your outdoor space beautiful, functional, and sustainable for years to come.
